Passion for Families operates with a belief in the strength of community and partnership. It works collaboratively with foster families, stakeholders, and community members to provide children with the support, encouragement, and resources they need to thrive. The organization emphasizes respect, trust, and shared responsibility in achieving its goals of stability and permanency for the children in its care.
Purpose Statement
Passion for Families seeks to provide comprehensive foster care services by creating environments where children can resolve maladaptive behaviors, build interpersonal skills, and make responsible, age-appropriate decisions. This includes working towards family reunification or preparing children for independent living when reunification is not an option.

Michael Cleveland, MA, LCPAA
Executive Director
Michael holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and has extensive experience in child welfare and agency leadership. He is passionate about creating systems that empower staff to focus on the well-being of children and families. Michael’s dedication to ensuring stability and growth for children in foster care drives his mission to make meaningful and lasting change.
Erica Cleveland, MA, LPC-S
Treatment Director
Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with a Master’s degree in Counseling. With decades of experience in psychotherapy and mental health services, she develops trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment plans for children. Her deep passion for supporting children through healing and resilience is evident in her work with families and staff.
